One entry per release, newest first, in the words we used in the store. Where we didn’t write down the exact day a release went out, it says the month.
Pictures are real captures of SlowGo, from the iPhone simulator, the Android emulator and the CarPlay Simulator, as each caption says.
1.4: SlowGo on Android
October 16, 2026 · iPhone and Android
SlowGo’s Android launch, on Google Play, with the same version on iPhone the same day.
- SlowGo is on Android, free on Google Play (Android 7.0 or later).
- Arizona: SlowGo builds rides in Arizona, along with Florida and Georgia.
- Fixed: some routes used bike and walking paths that aren’t open to carts. Routes now stay off paths unless they’re marked for golf carts. If a route ever uses an unmarked path, it shows in amber with a note to check local signs.
- If a route can’t get all the way to your spot, the route card says how far short it ends. If the closest road we can use is too far away, SlowGo tells you instead of offering the route.
- Rename a favorite: in Favorites, tap Edit, then the favorite. The new name shows everywhere (on iPhone, CarPlay too), and search finds it by that name.
- The weather forecast shows all of the next 6 hours, its words wrap instead of being cut off, and it shows a moon after sunset.
- Tap the SlowGo logo to go back home: it clears your search and any route you were looking at and puts the map back on you.
- Turn instructions are never cut off, and screens read better at the largest text sizes.
- Checking whether paths along your route are marked for golf carts now happens on your phone, using a list built into the app.
- Fixed a crash that could happen if you closed the app while typing a search.

1.3: Rides that keep going
October 5, 2026 · iPhone
- Rides keep going when your phone is locked or CarPlay drops. You’ll see the blue location pill while a ride is running.
- Going off your route now gets you a new one in the direction you’re already headed, and “Hang on, finding a new path” is said once, not on a loop. Stop-and-go off your route no longer holds up the new one.
- Fewer NoGo answers for places that sit just off a quiet road.
- Easier to use at large text sizes, and SlowGo no longer asks about your location a second time after you’ve said yes.
- Plus other bug fixes and improvements.
1.2: CarPlay
September 2026 · iPhone
- SlowGo works with CarPlay. Plug in, and your saved places, the route, turn-by-turn directions and the same speed-limit honesty show on the car’s screen, with the phone locked in the cupholder the whole ride.
- Fixes an issue where a ride could not be ended after the last turn.
- Plus other bug fixes and improvements.

1.1.1
September 2026 · iPhone
- Small privacy and reliability improvements.
1.1
September 2026 · iPhone
The first round of fixes after launch.
- Search understands what you mean: type “coffee” and you get coffee nearby.
- A NoGo answer names the real reason a trip can’t be done the slow way.
- Amber notes on a route take up less room, and open when you want the detail.
- The empty Favorites screen shows you how to save a spot.
- Plus other bug fixes and improvements.
1.0: SlowGo on the App Store
August 25, 2026 · iPhone
The first public version: golf cart and LSV navigation on roads posted 35 and under, built around The Villages, in Florida and Georgia.
- Route choices with every stretch spelled out, including miles where the speed was judged from the road type.
- Honest refusals: when there’s no reasonable slow way, SlowGo says NoGo and tells you why.
- No account, no sign-in, no ads.
