Local cart rules · Updated October 2026

Golf cart rules by town

Golf cart rules change from town to town: which streets carts can use, who can drive, whether a cart needs a sticker, and whether it can go out after dark. These are our plain-English summaries, each with links to where the rules come from.

Each page shows the day its rules were checked · Always follow local signs

SlowGo routes on roads posted 35 mph or under by default; it doesn’t establish cart access.

Check local rules before you ride. SlowGo doesn’t know each town’s own cart rules yet. Each page below says what it doesn’t apply.
